Welcome to Lizzy's Tees! I'm Lizzy, a 16 year old Senior Girl Scout in Georgia. Sewing and re-designing clothes has always been a passion of mine, and I decided to bring that passion to my fellow Girl Scouts in the form of Lizzy's Tees. The workshop debuted at GSHG's TLC of April 2012, and really took off at our 100th Anniversary Camporee. Since then I have been teaching sessions at GS events all over the state, to Scouts of all ages. Lizzy's Tees is a 1-2 hour workshop in which I teach girls how to take an ordinary t-shirt and cut, sew, fold, weave and embellish it until it's a special creation of their own. My workshops feature a diverse range of tutorials and projects that cater to girls with all different levels of sewing experience, from girls who have never picked up a needle and thread to girls who are proficient with a sewing machine. I base my tutorials off of ideas that I've either come up with myself or seen on the internet and developed on my own. I hope Lizzy's Tees inspires you to put a little creativity into your life too.
